A student leader, Shivam Mishra at Nepal Sanskrit University’s Central Ayurveda Campus in Bijauri was brutally attacked with a sharp weapon on Monday.
Shivam Mishra, the Vice President of the Nepal Students’ Union, was the victim of the assault, which occurred during a class. Ganesh Paudel, the unit president of Akhil Krantikari and secretary of Swa Bi Yu, is accused of the attack.
The Nepal Students’ Union’s Dang district committee has strongly condemned the incident, demanding a thorough investigation and strict punishment for the perpetrator. The committee has also called for increased security measures in educational institutions to protect students.
Mishra is currently hospitalized at Rapti Regional Hospital in Tulsipur due to the severity of his injuries.
