DHANGADHI, Nepal – A Shree Airlines aircraft remains grounded in Dhangadhi after a technical glitch was discovered in its front wheel mechanism. Flight ANH 227, which arrived in Dhangadhi from Kathmandu on Monday evening, was unable to take off as scheduled on Tuesday.

Gajendra Bahadur Shahi, the Dhangadhi head for Shree Airlines, confirmed the flight’s grounding. “The technical problem with the plane’s wheel was discovered after all passengers had disembarked on Monday evening. Consequently, the aircraft is currently grounded,” Shahi stated. He further noted that a technical team from Kathmandu has been dispatched to fix the problem.

Airport officials have downplayed the seriousness of the issue. Ganesh Bahadur Singh, chief of the Dhangadhi airport office, stated, “Technical work is mandatory for flight permission, even though the problem appears to be a minor one.” He emphasized that the aircraft will not receive clearance to fly until it has undergone a complete technical inspection.
