Search efforts following the recent bus accident on the Simaltal road took another turn today. Local residents spotted a body floating in the Narayani River near Gaindakot Municipality-7 on Tuesday and alerted the police.
The body, retrieved from the riverbank, was described by police as a male clad in jeans and a red shirt. Authorities are investigating the possibility that the deceased is one of the passengers from the ill-fated bus.
The body has been transported to Bharatpur Hospital for identification and further investigation.
