A Simrik Air helicopter (Nine N AKD) en route from Kathmandu to Lukla made an emergency landing in Dhulikhel on Monday morning. The landing was prompted by an indicator signaling the door was not properly closed.
Airport spokesperson Subas Jha emphasized the need for a safety check following such an indicator. The helicopter resumed its flight to Lukla after the door was securely closed.
