Six Indian Tourists Injured in Chitwan Jeep Accident

Chitwan Jeep Accident

A jeep carrying six Indian tourists on their way to Chitwan National Park was involved in an accident on Sunday near Khairahani Municipality-12 Darai Lake. The jeep, with license plate number Na 4 Cha 8855, was traveling through Kumroj Community Forest at the time of the incident.

According to the Chitwan district police office, the driver lost control of the vehicle, resulting in the accident. All six injured tourists are from Bendali police station in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. They have been identified as Sushmita Sudesh Khadiya (52), Rekha Ramchandra Jadhav (74), Sudesh Shankar Khadiya (60), Vijay More (64), Vaishali Gupteshwar (58), and Pankaj Gupteshwar (62).

The injured are currently receiving medical treatment at hospitals in Ratnanagar and Bharatpur. The driver, 45-year-old Santa Kumar Chaudhary, who resides in Ratnanagar Municipality-4, has been taken into police custody for further investigation.
