Leaving the closed alpha behind, Titan Forge Games has opened the doors to the public beta of SMITE 2, which is available today as a free-to-play title on all platforms.

The MOBA’s latest update introduces five new deities to the playable characters, including the latest addition developed entirely for SMITE 2: Aladdin. The latter is part of the “Tales of the East” Pantheon and is an extremely mobile deity thanks to his ability to run along walls and structures. His companion, the Genie, grants him three powerful wishes over the course of the game, including the ability to resurrect after death. Aladdin’s ultimate ability allows him to use his lamp to capture enemies in a one-on-one battle.

The other four characters added with the latest patch are: Geb, the Egyptian god of the earth; Mulan, the ascendant Chinese warrior; Agni to represent the Hindu pantheon; while Ullr of the Norse pantheon completes the list of new playable deities. Additionally, the update also adds the 3v3 “Tournament” game mode focused on quick, small-scale combat, along with a brand new Arthurian-themed map.

“It’s incredible to think back on how far SMITE 2 has come since the first prototypes just over two years ago,” said Travis Brown, general manager and creative director of Titan Forge Games. “We would never have gotten this far without the invaluable feedback from SMITE fans during the alpha phase, and now the game is objectively better than its predecessor in many ways. We have ambitious plans for content in 2025, which are sure to excite our players for the future of SMITE 2.”

We remind you that SMITE 2 is available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, but also on PS5 and Xbox Series
