This year Konami has another remake on the way for its fans of yesteryear, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, a game that will recreate the first adventure of Big Boss, one of the most important characters in the franchise who has the most appearances in the form of protagonist. And although the title does not yet have a specific release date, it seems that the merchandise related to it is already being prepared to fill stores around the world.
Despite the uncertainty, the game already has official products in the form of Funko Pops, which will be available in the United States starting March 25, 2025, according to Amazon. The figures are inspired by the two main characters: Naked Snake and The Boss. Which have the classic characteristics of this type of figures, that is, small bodies with disproportionate heads.
The Naked Snake figure shows him wielding his combat knife, while The Boss holds his iconic weapon, The Patriot. Promotional descriptions highlight that both will be “invaluable” to fans’ collections.

Although the release of these Funko Pops could suggest a breakthrough in the game’s production, Konami has not yet revealed an official date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. This has left fans speculating whether the announcement of the collectibles indicates that the game’s reveal is near. It is suggested that they are doing the same as many other companies in the industry, that is, waiting for Rockstar Games to give their day on the calendar for GTA 6.
It is worth mentioning that last year, Noriaki Okamura, producer of the series, explained that the decision to remake Snake Eater responds to the interest of introducing the franchise to a “younger generation” that is not familiar with the original titles. We will have to wait to see if there is a new trailer for it at large events like the Summer Game Fest.
Remember that it will come to PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
