A Nepali Army soldier has lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1. Nigam Nepali Sarki, a 27-year-old stationed at the No. 2 Disaster Management Group in Rasauli, succumbed to his injuries at Chitwan Medical College.
The fatal collision occurred on Tuesday night when the motorcycle Sarki was riding collided with a car at the Pokhara bus park. Another soldier, 26-year-old Dinesh Thapa, who was also on the motorcycle, sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
