Police in Makawanpur’s Thaha Municipality-10 have arrested 26-year-old Milan Gamal on charges of murdering his mother, 50-year-old Gyanimaya Gamal. The arrest, made by the Palung area police office on Sunday, stems from a domestic dispute that turned deadly.
According to Police Inspector Shyam Thapa Magar, preliminary investigations revealed Milan strangled his mother to death while she slept at home on the night of March 12th. The initial delay in the arrest was due to awaiting the post-mortem report, which confirmed death by strangulation.
Inspector Thapa Magar stated that Milan was taken into custody based on the autopsy report and subsequent investigations into the incident.
