The son of a man who was discovered dead in Kageshwori Manohara Municipality-5, Thali, on Tuesday morning was also found injured, according to police reports.
The deceased, 52-year-old Krishna Nagarkoti, a resident of Chaling, Bhaktapur Municipality-7, was found dead in Thali. Meanwhile, his son was discovered injured in Pharping.
District Police Complex Kathmandu SP and spokesperson Navaraj Adhikari stated that the police have detained Nagarkoti’s son, who was found injured in Pharping. Preliminary investigations suggest that Krishna Nagarkoti was killed with a sharp weapon. “The fact that the son of the deceased was found injured in Pharping has heightened suspicions,” said SP Adhikari.
Locals alerted the police after discovering the injured body on a hill on Tuesday morning. Upon arrival, police found the injured body covered with a black cloth and bleeding, with a blade also found at the scene.
