The Department of Water and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast Division has announced mixed weather conditions for Nepal today.
Clear skies dominate the picture across Nepal’s hilly regions, encompassing Bagmati, Gandaki, Koshi, and Karnali provinces. However, some pockets within these areas, including Kathmandu Valley in Bagmati, are experiencing light to moderate rain with lightning.
This afternoon, expect partly cloudy to mostly clear skies across the hilly regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy.
There’s a possibility of scattered light rain with thunder and gale in certain hilly areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki regions. A few areas outside the hilly regions might also see similar showers.
Tonight, partly cloudy skies are expected across the hilly regions, including Gandaki and Karnali provinces. There’s a chance of light rain with thunder and gale in a few locations within these regions and other hilly areas.
