A jeep carrying students on a trip to Rara Lake was involved in an accident in Mugu, Nepal.
The incident occurred near Sherijam in Khatyad Rural Municipality-2, according to Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Birendra Thapa of the Mugu District Police Office. The jeep, identified with registration number Ga 1 Ja 8249, was transporting students from Jana Prakash Secondary School in Kolti, Bajura.
Fortunately, all eleven students on board sustained only minor injuries. They were taken to the Ratapani primary health post for treatment and are reported to be out of danger.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
