CPN-UML’s Suhang Nembang, who won the recent by-election in Ilam Region No. 2, will be sworn in as a Member of Parliament (MP) today. The Federal Parliament Secretariat has scheduled his oath-taking ceremony for 11:00 at Singha Durbar.
Nembang secured a decisive victory with 27,772 votes, defeating Nepali Congress candidate Dambar Bahadur Khadka by a margin of 5,780 votes.
