A suspicious object has been discovered outside the residence of Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba in Dhangadhi.
The item was found near Deuba Niwas, close to the Employees’ Provident Fund in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 4, late Saturday night, according to police reports.
The Chief of Police in Kailali, Padam Bahadur Bista, stated that the object was located inside an old bag wrapped in wire. The nature of the item remains unclear, and the District Police Office in Kailali has confirmed that a disposal team from the Nepali Army has been summoned to investigate and handle the situation.
