Nepal has a target of 122 runs to secure a win in their first T20 match against Ireland Wolves A at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Ireland Wolves A, opting to bat first after winning the toss, were all out for 121 after completing their 20 overs. The Irish innings suffered an early setback on the second ball of the match when Nepal’s Karan KC dismissed opener Ross Adair. Despite a resilient 46 runs off 39 balls from their other opener, Ireland Wolves A found themselves in trouble at 63-5 by the 11th over.

Lower-order contributions helped push the total above 100. Nepal’s bowlers shared the spoils, with Gulshan Jha, Lalit Rajbanshi, and Kushal Bhurtel each picking up two wickets. Karan KC and Kushal Malla claimed one wicket apiece, and two Irish batters were run out.

The Irish team, on their first tour of Nepal, will contest a second T20 match before moving on to play three additional T20s and three 50-over matches against Nepal A.
