A tragic tractor accident in Pathibhara Yangwarak rural municipality-4 Dummrise, Taplejung, has resulted in the death of a student and injuries to eight others. Nine-year-old Manas Tamang, a Class 6 student at Siddheshwari Secondary School, died on the spot when the tractor (1-01-001 TA 9069) veered off the road and fell approximately 15 meters.
The eight injured students, also from Siddheshwari Secondary School, have been transported to Panchthar District Hospital for treatment. The tractor driver fled the scene and is currently being sought by police.
