Tragedy struck Tilottama Municipality on Saturday as a teenager drowned in the Tinau River.
The victim, 17-year-old Dibyams Bhushal, son of Narayan Bhushal from Tilottama-5 Nayamil, had gone to Hariyali Park in Ward 6 with friends for a swim. While bathing in the river around 8:30 am, Dibyams reportedly drowned.
Alerted by locals, a team from the Mangalapur Area Police Office rushed to the scene. Led by Senior Deputy Inspector Dipendra Baniya, a seven-person team located Dibyams’ body in the river.
