The temperature has begun to rise significantly across Nepal, according to the Weather Forecast Division. Compared to last week, much of the country is experiencing a noted increase in temperatures.
Meteorologist Govind Jha reports a daily increase of one to two degrees Celsius in recent days. In a clear example, the minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley jumped from 9 degrees Celsius yesterday morning to 11 degrees Celsius today.
While some parts of the hilly regions remain partly cloudy, the rest of the country is experiencing clear skies. Meteorologist Jha also indicates a possibility of minor snowfall in isolated locations within the high hills and Himalayan areas of the Koshi and Gandaki provinces, but no rain is predicted for today.
