As The Pokémon Company had already announced by publishing an open letter to fans, by the end of January we would have in our hands a new expansion for the Mobile Pokémon TCG Pocket card game. The title with over 10 million downloads presents its new expansion, Spacetime Clash, arriving on January 30th with a short trailer.
As revealed in the trailer, the new expansion will feature fourth generation Pokémon and the different “mini-expansions” per package will return, as in Supreme Geniuses. The protagonists of this new expansion are Dialga and Palkia, both available in a formidable EX edition which was shown in the movie.
Among the Pokémon present in the new expansion that were shown in the trailer we also find Pachirisu EX, Leafeon, Honchkrow, the champion Camilla, shown in a delightful full-art, Gible and the legendary Cresselia as well as, obviously, the three starters from the Sinnoh region Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplus, with evolutions to follow.
The new expansion should also lead the way with regards to the delicate issue of the exchange mode, the subject of rumors and subsequent official confirmations by The Pokémon Company which will, in fact, make it much less free and useful than expected.
