Blasphemous and its kingdom of Cvstodia expand beyond the confines of videogames thanks to Blasphemous – The Board Game, the board game dedicated to the saga of the same name created by the Spanish studio The Game Kitchen.
From February 25, 2025, a crowdfunding campaign will start on Gamefound dedicated to this project by Ludus Magnus Studio (Black Rose Wars, Black Rose Wars: Rebirth, Nova Aetas Renaissance), which promises to transform the atmosphere of the video game into a strategic and unprecedented narrative, designed for board game enthusiasts and Blasphemous fans.
For 1 to 4 players, in this board game we will take on the role of the Penitents, consecrated warriors in search of atonement. Through a pilgrimage full of suffering and extreme devotion, we will venture into the dark world of Cvstodia. The game map faithfully reproduces the iconic settings of the video game and is divided into three main regions: the Suffering Lands, the City of Churches and the Underground.
Each area is full of dangers, missions and secrets to reveal, with characters and bosses familiar to fans. The gameplay is characterized by a tactical combat system and the possibility of developing Penitents through vestiges, such as prayers and rosary beads.
Furthermore, the customizable dice represent an innovative mechanic: players can configure the faces of the dice, optimizing attack and defense thanks to the skills acquired during the game. This feature, combined with the immersive narrative and strategic challenge, makes each gaming experience unique.
The Blasphemous – The Board Game crowdfunding campaign will offer exclusive content for backers and early access to the game.
