Machete Attack in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City Police have apprehended three individuals in connection with a machete attack that occurred on Sunday afternoon.

The suspects, identified as 18-year-old Anish Magar from Sindhuli, 26-year-old Kumar Pandit from Dailekh, and 19-year-old Prem Singh Mahara from Darchula, were arrested following an incident in Aloknagar.

According to police spokesperson SP Nawaraj Adhikari, the trio assaulted 22-year-old Manat KC from Dhangadhi with a machete during a dispute near Sauraha Hotel. KC sustained injuries to his right hand.

Law enforcement recovered a khukuri from the suspects. They are currently being investigated on charges related to attempted murder.
