Police in Biratnagar have arrested three people for allegedly smuggling illegal drugs from Jogbani, India.
The arrested individuals are identified as:
- Chhotu Sahani (19) from Biratnagar-6 (driver)
- Sanjay Sah (30) from Biratnagar-9
- Pasupati Kewat (30) from Biratnagar-16
A team from the Area Police Office Rani and the Narcotics Control Bureau Biratnagar apprehended the suspects along with a tempo (vehicle number Ko 2 Ha 8390).
According to Morang Police spokesperson DSP Gyanendra Bahadur Basnet, a search conducted near Khaki Baba Mandir in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-15 revealed that the group was hiding a stash of Nitravet (170 tablets) and Paronix (128 tablets) under the tempo’s seat.
