Three children are feared drowned after being swept away by the Sun Koshi River while bathing following Holi celebrations on Sunday. The missing children have been identified as Choklachandra Magar (8), Ridam Magar (7), and Rekha Magar (11), all from Triyuga Municipality-14.
The incident occurred at Dhaplang within the municipality when the children went to play in the river after the festivities. A search operation is currently underway, involving local police and the armed police force. Four other children who were with the missing group have returned home safely.
