Authorities in Kathmandu are investigating the deaths of three individuals found in Swayambhu. The victims, identified as Ishwari Shrestha (39), her daughter Anisha Shrestha (8), and Shivani Shrestha (2), were discovered with injuries indicating a violent attack.
A joint team from the District Police Range, Kathmandu, and the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office is examining the scene. Evidence suggests the victims were killed with homemade weapons.
Further developments in the case revealed a tragic twist. The body of Raju Ghimire, Ishwari’s husband, was found hanging in a forest near Sitapaila. Ghimire was Anisha’s father and Shivani’s uncle.
The motive behind the deaths remains under investigation.
