A landslide claimed the lives of three young girls in Gokulganga Rural Municipality-6 on Thursday evening. The victims have been identified as 18-year-old Sita Tamang, 15-year-old Ashika Tamang, and 13-year-old Laxmi Tamang.

According to District Police Office Ramechhap, the landslide struck Biman Tamang’s house at around 8:40 PM, burying the three girls. Local residents and police recovered the bodies later that night. However, post-mortem examinations have been delayed due to landslides blocking the road to Manthali.
