Three leopards were discovered dead in Thakre Rural Municipality-10 on Thursday. Two of the big cats were found in a ginger field, while the third was located in a nearby maize field.
Local residents stumbled upon the carcasses while cutting grass and immediately alerted authorities. A team, including police officials, was dispatched to the scene.
The deceased leopards have been handed over to the Baireni Sub-Division Forest Office for further investigation. Local police have also initiated a probe into the matter.
The cause of death for the three leopards remains unknown at this time.
