Cricket fans in Nepal and Canada are gearing up for an exciting season of the Global T20 tournament as three Nepali players are confirmed to participate.
Leading the charge will be captain Rohit Poudel, who will be suiting up for the Toronto Nationals. Joining him are spin maestro Sandeep Lamichhane and all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee, who will be representing the Vancouver Knights.
This marks a change from the previous season, where Lamichhane played for the Surrey Jaguars and Airee made his debut for the Montreal Tigers.
The upcoming season of the Global T20 will be held from July 25th to August 11th in Ontario, Canada. This year marks the fourth edition of the tournament, with past champions including the Vancouver Knights (2018), Winnipeg Hawks (2019), and the Montreal Tigers (2023).
