Nawalparasi, Nepal: A tragic incident occurred in Binayi-Triveni Rural Municipality Ward No. 7 when three workers lost their lives while cleaning a septic tank under construction. The victims, identified as Prakash Singh Chhetri (38), Ganesh Bogati (19), and Mohammad Raja (28), were found unconscious inside the tank and subsequently pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
According to local police, the workers were overcome by toxic fumes while working in the confined space of the septic tank. Despite being rescued and rushed to a hospital in Rupandehi, their lives could not be saved.
The incident has prompted a thorough investigation by local authorities to determine the tragedy’s circumstances and identify any potential safety lapses.
