Biratchowk, Nepal – A local man was killed in a tiger attack in Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality, Nawalpur on Friday. The victim, identified as Jit Bahadur Thing, was 63 years old.
According to local authorities, Thing was attacked while cutting grass in the Tinchuli Central Community Forest, located in Ward No. 1 of the municipality. The incident occurred in the afternoon.
A companion who was with Thing at the time managed to escape by climbing a tree. The identity of the survivor has not been released.
The local police are investigating the incident and have not provided any further details.
