Tiger Woods will play the PNC Championship with his son Charlie

Tiger Woods returns to the golf courses after his last participation in the British Open last July and his sixth back surgery. He will do so with his son Charlie, with whom he will play in the PNC Championship, from December 21 to 22 at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club.

The American golfer confirmed his presence through a statement. “I’m excited to be back next week with Charlie at the PNC Championship, playing together is something we look forward to and it’s always more special when you’re surrounded by friends and family,” Tiger explained.

Tiger and Charlie will face 19 other teams, with whom they will compete in a 36-hole tournament in which couples such as the Harringtons and the Paddys will also be present. In addition to newcomers Trevor and Jacob Immelman, and Fred Couples along with Hunter Hannemann.

This edition will be the fifth in which father and son will compete in the tournament, as they have been playing together since 2020. Their best result came in 2021, when they finished in second place in Orlando.
