The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has warned of heavy rainfall in five provinces today.
According to the weather forecast, heavy rain is likely in isolated areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The department has urged residents in these regions to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
For the afternoon, the weather forecast predicts partly to mostly cloudy skies across the country with light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in many places.
