Nepal is experiencing a spell of wet weather, with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms affecting parts of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces since this morning.
The Weather Forecast Division has issued a forecast of partly cloudy skies across the country for the afternoon, with light to moderate rain and thundershowers expected in all provinces.
Conditions are expected to worsen at night, with widespread cloud cover and rain predicted for Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as scattered showers in other regions. There is a heightened risk of heavy rainfall in isolated areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
In light of the forecast, the division has urged residents in these areas to remain vigilant against potential disasters such as floods, landslides, and erosion caused by heavy rainfall.
