According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, the afternoon will likely see partly cloudy skies nationwide. There is a chance of light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in many areas throughout Nepal.
As the day progresses, the department predicts partly cloudy skies throughout the country at night. Some regions, including Kosi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, may experience light to moderate rainfall.
The ongoing monsoon is influenced by a low-pressure line situated south of Sardar in the west and slightly north of its usual position in the east.
