The ongoing monsoon season is continuing to impact Nepal, with a low-pressure line situated south of Regular Place in the west and north of the regular position in the east.
According to the Water and Weather Forecast Division, the country is experiencing partly to mostly cloudy skies today. Several areas in Bagmati Province and a few locations in other provinces have already received light rainfall.
The forecast for the afternoon predicts similar conditions, with partly to mostly cloudy skies across the nation. There is a high likelihood of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in certain regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Additionally, a few places in Madhesh Province may also experience light showers.
As the day progresses into tonight, Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces can expect partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. Some areas in these provinces may receive light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning, while a few locations in the remaining provinces could also experience light showers.
