The ongoing monsoon season continues to impact various regions across Nepal. According to the Department of Water and Weather Forecasting, light rainfall has been reported in isolated areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The department has also forecasted the possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in certain parts of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in a few locations in the remaining provinces. In particular, the Karnali province is expected to experience heavy rainfall in one or two places.
For the evening and night, the weather is predicted to be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is anticipated in some areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Lumbini provinces, while isolated heavy rainfall is possible in one or two places in the remaining provinces.
