Nepal is currently under the influence of monsoon, with the low-pressure line situated south. This has resulted in widespread rainfall across the country.
The Weather Forecast Division reported light to moderate rain in parts of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, with isolated showers in Koshi.
The afternoon will see a mix of partly to mostly cloudy skies nationwide, with the potential for light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in several regions. Gandaki and Lumbini provinces are particularly at risk of heavy rainfall in isolated areas.
As the day progresses into the night, the country will remain mostly cloudy. The weather department has issued a warning for widespread light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in Sudurpaschim, and showers in other provinces. Heavy rainfall is expected in parts of Sudurpaschim, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini.
