While some parts of Gandaki Province and isolated areas in other regions have experienced light rain, the afternoon forecast predicts a mix of partly to mostly cloudy skies nationwide. There’s a high likelihood of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, with occasional showers in the remaining areas. The Meteorological Division has issued a warning of heavy rainfall in isolated locations within Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali Provinces.
Similar weather conditions are expected for the night, with the potential for light to moderate rain and thunderstorms in Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
Given the forecast of heavy rainfall, the Meteorological Division has urged residents in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali Provinces to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions against potential disasters such as landslides, floods, and erosion.
