Light to moderate rain has been reported in several parts of Koshi, Madhes, and Bagmati. The afternoon is expected to be mostly cloudy nationwide, with chances of light to moderate rain and lightning in various regions.
Tonight, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are likely to experience light to moderate rain with lightning, while the remaining provinces could see similar conditions in a few places. However, the real concern lies in Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini, where heavy to very heavy rain is predicted in some areas. Isolated heavy rainfall is also possible in other provinces.
In light of the forecast, the Meteorological Division has urged people in the affected regions to be vigilant and take necessary precautions to prevent potential disasters such as landslides, floods, and soil erosion.
