The ongoing monsoon is continuing to influence weather patterns across Nepal, with the monsoon low-pressure line currently situated at regular place. As a result, several parts of the country are experiencing varying degrees of rainfall.
The Water and Weather Forecast Division has reported light to moderate rain in several areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, with scattered showers in other regions.
The weather agency predicts a mix of partly to mostly cloudy skies for the afternoon, with chances of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. While the remaining provinces may experience isolated showers.
Similar weather conditions are expected to persist overnight, with a heightened risk of heavy rain in one or two places within Karnali province.
The division has urged people to stay updated on weather forecasts and take necessary precautions to prevent potential hazards associated with heavy rainfall, such as landslides and flooding.
