The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that the country is experiencing a partial influence of westerly and local winds. These winds are causing partly cloudy conditions over the hilly regions, while the weather remains clear in other areas.
According to the department, during the day, the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces will see partial cloud cover, while the weather will stay clear in other areas. There is a chance of light rainfall at a few locations in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and light snowfall in a few places in the higher hills and mountainous areas.
Similarly, tonight, partial cloudiness will persist over the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with clear skies elsewhere.
Over the next 24 hours, the department predicts a chance of light rainfall in a few areas of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, along with light snowfall in some locations in the high hills and mountainous areas. It has advised caution to all those involved in agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road, and air transport in these regions, as minor impacts could be expected.
