The Department of Water and Meteorology has forecast clear skies and localized showers across Nepal. Western winds influence weather patterns nationwide, while some regions in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are experiencing relatively clear conditions.
Light to moderate rain showers, accompanied by thunder and lightning, are expected in isolated areas within these provinces. Afternoon conditions in the hilly regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini will likely be partly cloudy to mostly clear. However, there’s a chance of light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in certain hilly areas.
As the day progresses, the hilly regions excluding Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini will have clear skies.
Nevertheless, there remains a possibility of localized showers with thunder in the Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini regions.
