Western Winds and Cyclonic Storms Influence Weather Across Nepal
A combination of western winds, local winds, and the partial impact of the cyclonic sea storm “Dana” in the Bay of Bengal is affecting weather conditions across Nepal.
The eastern regions of Koshi and Lumbini Provinces are experiencing partly cloudy skies, while the rest of the country is seeing partly cloudy to mostly clear conditions.

- Afternoon: The hilly areas of Nepal, including the Koshi and Lumbini regions, will remain partly cloudy to mostly clear. There’s a slight chance of light rain with lightning in isolated areas within these regions.
- Evening: Mostly clear skies are expected across the country, with partly cloudy conditions in the hilly areas of Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim regions. Light rain with lightning remains possible in a few places within these regions.
