The ongoing monsoon season continues to affect various regions of Nepal. The Water and Weather Forecasting Division reported that the monsoon low-pressure line is currently positioned north of most areas in the western and southern parts of the country.
On Friday morning, light rain was observed in a few places within the Koshi and Bagmati provinces. However, the weather remained mostly clear in other parts of the country.
The division forecasted a partly to mostly cloudy sky across Nepal on Friday afternoon, with a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in certain areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Karnali, Gandaki, and other provinces.
Similarly, on Friday night, the country is expected to experience partly to mostly cloudy conditions, with a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and other provinces.
