The Department of Water and Meteorology has issued a weather forecast predicting a mix of partly cloudy to mostly changeable conditions across Nepal. Over the next 24 hours, rain may occur in some areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
The department has warned of potential thunderstorms in the Terai regions of Koshi, Madhesh, and Lumbini. Residents in these areas are advised to be cautious of potential hazards such as landslides, floods, and increased water levels in rivers and streams.
Meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane emphasized the need for vigilance due to the potential impact of adverse weather on daily life, agriculture, tourism, transportation, and construction activities near river areas.
The forecast for Monday indicates similar weather conditions, with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies and the possibility of light to moderate rain, especially in the morning and afternoon. The rainfall is expected to subside towards the evening.
