Kathmandu: Nepal is currently under the influence of monsoon, with the monsoon low-pressure line situated south. While the weather is generally changing across the country, light to moderate rain has been reported in parts of Gandaki Province and isolated areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
The weather forecast for the afternoon predicts partly to mostly cloudy skies nationwide. Similar weather conditions are expected for tonight. However, there is a heightened risk of heavy rainfall in isolated regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has urged people to take necessary precautions as the monsoon season progresses.
