A 16-month-old boy tragically lost his life after drowning in a pond in Chandragiri Municipality-2, Bad Bhanjayang on Tuesday.
Shrawan Oli, whose family is originally from Rolpa, was critically injured in the incident and was rushed to Kanti Children’s Hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, the young child succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.
The deceased was the son of Jharana Oli, a resident of Triveni Rural Municipality-1, Rolpa.
Local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the drowning.
