Tourists describe the clean air and peaceful environment of Todke as rejuvenating for both body and mind. The melodious birdsong and stunning mountain views create a feeling of deep tranquility. One such visitor, a newlywed man, shared his experience of how Todke’s serenity filled him with joy.

70-year-old Durgadatta Acharya of Mangala Rural Municipality-1, Purnagaon, finds the birdsong in the rhododendron-filled forest both uplifting and stress-relieving. The deep red blossoms of the rhododendrons form a breathtaking sight.

A local Hotelier revealed an exciting development: a technical team from Kathmandu is scheduled to arrive soon to explore the potential of creating juice from the rhododendron flowers.

Todke’s prime attraction is its panoramic view of Himalayan ranges, including Gurja, Churen, Manapathi, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Lamjung Himal. Visitors find it ideal for yoga, meditation, and simple contemplation of the mountain vista. Local delicacies like potato, bean, and yam dishes add to the Todke experience.

The area holds religious significance, having been visited by revered figures like Swargadwari Mahaprabhu. The ‘Tapovan Shivalaya’, a branch of the Swargadwari Ashram, and the historic Siddhathan highlight this connection.

A nearby park constructed within the Siddha Community Forest offers additional recreational space. Division Forest Office Head Bishnu Prasad Adhikari mentioned that Rs. 500,000 has been allocated for developing the park.

Todke is conveniently accessible with comfortable hotel facilities for overnight stays. Visitors can also purchase local produce and souvenirs on their way back.

Todke is easily reached by car from Beni via five different routes. Those seeking a more active experience can hike the old trail from Beni. Nearby attractions worth exploring include the Singa Hot Spring and the holy Galeshwar Dham.
