A tragic accident in Barahapokhari rural municipality-1 has claimed the life of a 28-year-old tractor driver, Amrit Limbu of Jhapa Buddhashanti Municipality-4 Shantinagar. The tractor (number Me 1 Ta 8597), carrying khair wood, plummeted 700 meters off the road near Rumdu in Bhirgaon on Saturday at approximately 5:30 PM.
Limbu’s body was discovered 500 meters down the hillside. A passenger, 24-year-old Mukesh Magar of Barahapokhari, sustained head injuries and other bodily trauma in the accident.
