Viz Media announced on January 24, 2025 that the novel based on Trafalgar D. Water Law, one of the best known and popular pirates of the manga and anime One Piece will bring to the West. As scheduled, it will be available in the autumn of the current year.

The interesting thing about this work is that it tells the unlocked story of this character, when together with the Pirates Heart it travels the seas living the most diverse adventures.

This proposal has the title of One Piece: Law’s Story, which manages the light novel format and takes up this character created by Eiichiro Oda. This implies that among its pages there will be illustrations that will highlight their most important moments.

We recommend: Lego and Netflix prepare One Piece sets before the premiere of season 2.

However, this story does not come directly from Oda itself but in reality of the writer Shusei Sakagami. Some could say that this literary work has taken a long time to be available.

What happens is that this light novel of Trafalgar D. Water Law originally came out in Japan in April 2020. It is the room of seven volumes that appeared first in One Piece Magazine.

Subsequently Shueisha, the editorial behind the manga and handles her spin-offs or printed derivatives, decided to publish it in the form of a separate book. In what part of the story does this work take place? Well, it’s just after the death of the heart.
