A heartbreaking discovery unfolded in Belbari Municipality, Morang, on Thursday. A 5-year-old boy, Bibas Ban, who had been missing since Wednesday evening, was found deceased in a canal.
Bibas vanished from his home in Belbari Municipality-5 around 5 pm on Wednesday. A search ensued, and on Thursday, his body was located in a local canal roughly 4 kilometers southeast of his residence.
Authorities confirmed Bibas drowned in the canal. His body has been transported to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.
